Fixed Certification expiration dates were a day early Public Site

The Certification Status report potentially showed every certification expiring one day early, depending on the users' local time zone.

The certificates themselves, and the PDF and CSV exports of the report, always showed the correct date.

Fixed Improved dark mode Public Site

Fixed some locations where dark mode wasn't properly applied on certain pages and components, limiting visiblity.

Fixed Certification status is back in the report table Public Site

The table view of the Certification Status report had an empty "Certification Status" column — the Certified / Temporary / Expired badges only appeared on the gallery cards. The column is filled in again, and the CSV export carries it too.

Data tables that fit their page no longer show a needless horizontal scrollbar.

Changed The contact form no longer emails you a copy Public Site

Writing to us through the contact form used to send a copy of your message back to the address you entered. It no longer does, and the form no longer offers one. Your message still goes straight to the DQM team, and they will reply to the address you provide.

Improved Pages load faster Public Site

A round of performance work across the public site: pages are now compressed before they are sent, images load as you reach them instead of all at once, map data is sent more compactly, and assets are cached for longer on repeat visits.

Fixed No more being signed out while you are working Public Site

Having the site open in more than one tab could sign you out of all of them. A tab left sitting in the background would reach its own inactivity deadline and end the session for every other tab — including the one you were actively working in, with no warning, because the countdown appeared in the background tab you could not see.

Using the browser's Back button could do the same thing, for the same reason: the restored page picked up an old countdown where it left off.

Tabs now share a single view of when the session was last used, and no tab ends a session without first checking with the server. If you are working anywhere in the site, every tab stays signed in. Sessions that really are left idle still time out on schedule.

Fixed Pages stay usable while the map loads Public Site

Menus, buttons and links now respond straight away on pages that carry a map, instead of ignoring clicks until the map had finished drawing. The mapping library is loaded a different way, so it no longer ties up the browser while it starts.

New Announcements Public Site

Added a page that has all historic DQM Program announcements. The four most current are listed on the home page, with a link to the page containing all.

Announcements can be filtered by topic and sorted.

New Release notes Public Site

This page. Updates are listed newest first, and you can filter by the part of the site you work in or by the type of change.

When something changes in an area of the site you have access to, you will be notified on your next visit.

Improved Display preferences follow your account Public Site

User preferences such as theme and dismissed notices are saved to your profile, so they survive signing out and follow you to another computer.

Improved Faster content pages Public Site

The site's content pages — About, Requirements, Education, Reports and Tools — are now built into the site itself instead of being assembled from the content system on every visit, leading to performance improvements.

Improved Security updates Public Site

Routine security hardening across the site, including updated third-party components and tighter checks on where the site will load images and other content from.

Fixed Active dredge plant counts and listing now agree with the rest of DQM Public Site

The **Active Dredge Plants** and **Active Projects** figures on the home page, and the Active Projects listing itself, left out a small number of plants — so they read lower than the same counts elsewhere in DQM.

Fixed The map now follows dark mode properly Public Site

Opening a page in dark mode left parts of the map in light mode — the zoom control, the tour button and the credits bar stayed white while the rest of the map went dark. The map's controls now match the theme on load and when you switch themes.

The map legend and the dredge details panel were also hard to read in dark mode; their text now follows the theme.

Fixed Keyboard and screen-reader fixes across the public site Public Site

Pop-up notices that were long enough to scroll can now be scrolled with the keyboard — previously the only way to read past the fold was with a mouse. The figures beside the home page banner are announced properly as a label and its value again, links inside announcement text are underlined rather than marked by colour alone, and the page you land on when something goes wrong now has a main content region a screen reader can jump to.

Fixed Release notes show the date each change shipped Public Site

Every release note was stamped with the date the site was last deployed rather than the date its change actually shipped.

Fixed Header now keeps up when you sign in or out in another tab Public Site

Signing in or out in a second tab left the header on the previous state until you reloaded the page — so a page could offer "Sign In" at the top while the content below it was already showing everything your account has access to. The header now updates as you move around the site, and it tracks the same identity the rest of the page does.

Fixed Clearer failure when a certification letter cannot be produced Public Site

A certification letter that fails to generate now returns a short message saying so. It previously returned the raw internal error text, which told the reader nothing useful about what to do next.

Fixed Search results and the sitemap Public Site

Site search no longer returns fewer results than it should.

The sitemap now lists each page once without duplication, and no longer lists pages that are not available yet — following one of those links used to reach a "page not found".

New Pause animated page headers Public Site

Animated headers have a play and pause control.

Improved Error pages Public Site

Errors now show the site's own error page instead of a plain browser one.

Fixed USACE map layers Public Site

Fixed an issue that caused map layers from other USACE systems to not display.

Changed Sessions end after a period of inactivity Public Site

You are warned a minute before an idle session ends, then signed out.

New Links to your existing tools Public Site

While this site is being built out, a notice points you to the DQM Viewer and Retool for anything that has not moved here yet.

It shows a direct link if you already have access, and a way to request access if you do not.

Improved Faster pages while certificates are generated Public Site

Certificate PDFs are produced in the background, so they no longer slow down the rest of the site.

The main menu and its submenus work properly with a keyboard and with screen readers.
